So I have this little problem whenever I get prego! I gain enough weight for 3 pregnancies all in one. Doesn't seem to matter what I do. I hiked, I walked, I lifted weights, I did yoga, I hunted. I killed my first buck 7 1/2 months prego. I only ate icecream twice a day and tried to limit my chocolate intake. And I only drank tea and water, seriously!
So 9 years ago with my daughter I gained 97 lbs...crying now. With my son I managed to keep just around 60lbs! The hard part about losing weight in the middle of almost nowhere it is it's friggin' cold here half the year. Who wants to get out of bed when its negative 30 degrees out! When we can't get above 0 during the day I dont even want to leave my office! I like to stay home on the couch and veg and that has nothing to do with eating vegetables.
Solution: I have a Pilates machine and an exercise bike in one of the extra rooms of my office! AND I am going to use them religiously. I am going to lose this 50lbs that has been plagueing me for the last 18 months...
I so hear you on the not wanting to exercise in the cold, and our cold is NOTHING like your cold! Good luck losing weight... I desperately need to change what I'm doing because i'm going in the wrong direction on the scale!
